Our wonderful friends Carole and Marty are big time Yankee fans and last weekend they invited us to join them for a game. What an incredible experience.
The stadium itself is awesome. It is spacious and bright, and full of Yankee history. It's happily nestled in the Bronx, and you can see/hear subways rattling by.
Our seats were outstanding. We had a fantastic location between home plate and first base, which meant we could see the players really well (and had to watch for flying balls and bats).
And the food! That could be an entire post unto itself. You could get sushi, noodle bowls, Philly cheese steaks, or these incredible looking steak sandwiches with meat hand carved by this guy:

This place is so well known for its fabulous steaks and heavenly steak sauce, and has been around since 1887. It has been rated the best steak house in New York for the last 26 years in a row. This is why:
We ate this...and then had dessert. It was totally blissful gluttony.
Carole and Marty spoiled us rotten, and we loved every second of it!
